Job Summary
Primary responsibilities include supporting CPP-led commercial sales, dispatching and coordinating commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatch, managing the store vehicle fleet and safety checks, conducting account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops, performing outbound calls and customer deliveries, and leading organization around the parts department, backroom, and delivery areas. Must maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales, assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value, lead the commercial program when CPP is not present (i.e. weekends as business and customer demands require), engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend appropriate parts or services, and support onboarding and shadowing of new team members. Success factors include friendly communication, ability to locate and stock parts, safety knowledge, operating inventory systems and store equipment, parts and automotive system knowledge, operating POS/parts lookup systems, strong selling skills for commercial customers, ability to multi-task and stay organized, and working knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules; required to obtain MVR certification and hold a valid drivers license. Education noted as High school diploma or GED; ASE certification preferred but not required.
