Job Summary
Support CPP-led commercial sales and coordinate commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatch. Maintain store vehicle fleet readiness, perform safety checks, and manage parts-area organization and backroom logistics. Conduct account stocking visits, Pro Sales flyer drops, and outbound calls; execute customer deliveries per driver procedures and build customer relationships. Lead the parts department/backroom organization, maintain knowledge of inventory and new arrivals, and assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value. When CPP is unavailable, lead the commercial program (e.g., weekends as demand requires) and collaborate with walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend parts or services. Assist CPPs and GMs with tasks and special projects including inventory management. Demonstrate friendly communication, strong organization, safety awareness, and proficiency with inventory systems, POS, and parts lookup. Optional: Spanish language skills; willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques; ability to multi-task in a busy environment; route store drivers efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (MVR)
- Ability to work days, evenings, weekends as needed
- Strong selling skills for commercial customers
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, catalogs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
