Job Summary
Commercial Specialist role supporting CPP-led commercial sales and coordinating dispatch of commercial deliveries from order entry to delivery. Responsible for managing the store vehicle fleet maintenance and safety checks, conducting account stocking visits, updating customers with Pro Sales flyer drops, making outbound calls, following up with accounts, and performing customer deliveries as needed. Lead organization around the parts department/backroom, maintain product knowledge, assist with upselling/cross-selling to raise transaction value, and lead the commercial program when CPP is not present (e.g., weekends). Engage with walk-in customers to recommend parts/services, support onboarding and shadowing of new team members, and contribute to inventory management and order accuracy. Requires English proficiency (Spanish a plus), ability to read/write simple communications, and basic math. Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel and parts lookup systems; MVR certification and valid driver's license are required; ASE certification is preferred but not required. Ability to work varied days/evenings/weekends, multi-task in a busy environment, and route store drivers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- MVR certification
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish a plus
- Strong selling skills for commercial customers
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized
- Knowledge of automotive systems and parts required; ASE certification preferred but not required
