Job Summary
Design and architect observability solutions leveraging OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies for enterprise customers. Translate complex requirements into scalable implementations, develop Proofs of Concept, and deliver technical demos tailored to engineering and executive audiences. Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the technical solution of choice while providing architecture guidance on telemetry data modeling and OpenTelemetry collector design. Create reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates to highlight differentiated capabilities. Contribute to technical content including blog posts, conference talks, and documentation to drive community engagement. This role bridges product and customer outcomes in a fast-moving, venture-backed startup focused on eliminating vendor lock-in.
Required Qualifications
- Deep technical knowledge in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices
- Proven ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and POCs that prove business value
- Strong technical communication skills

- US-based remote role with business travel required
- This role is can be remote and can be based anywhere on the East Coast, with a preference for Boston or NYC
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a pre-sales or Sales Engineering capacity at a B2B SaaS company
- Active contributions to OpenTelemetry or the broader observability ecosystem
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot
- Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment
