Job Summary
Design and architect observability solutions leveraging OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies for commercial customers. Translate complex requirements into scalable Dash0 implementations and execute Proofs of Concept to validate technical capabilities. Deliver tailored technical demos to engineering and executive audiences while collaborating with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle. Provide architecture guidance on telemetry data modeling and OpenTelemetry collector design, and partner with Product Management to influence roadmap priorities. This role bridges product and customer outcomes in Amsterdam, supporting both pre-sales and post-sales engagement within a high-growth, venture-backed startup.
Required Qualifications
- Deep technical knowledge in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and POCs that prove business value
- Collaborative mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot) for collaboration and pipeline visibility
- Contributions to technical content — blog posts, conference talks, or open-source documentation
- Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem and community
