Job Summary
Fabrication and installation of sheet metal on commercial roof systems. Work with roofing crew to complete tear-offs of existing gutters and coping cap, installations, and other tasks. Lay out architectural sheet metal flashings—copings, fascia, gutters, downspouts, counter flashings and misc trim. Assist sheet metal foreman and superintendent; assist in design/layout; shear metal; operate RAS autobrake and manual sheet metal brake. Must lift 50+ lbs regularly, climb ladders (up to 40'), and work in heat/cold; must be able to work as part of a team. Entry-level friendly with training available. Location: Columbus, OH.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year commercial experience in sheet metal roofing
- Open to entry level
- Willing to train
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
- Must be able to climb a ladder 40'
- Must be able to work in the heat and sub-zero cold
- No fear of heights
- Valid driver's license
- Must work well in a team environment
