Job Summary
Fabricate and install sheet metal on commercial roof systems, including tear-off of existing gutters and coping caps. Lay out architectural flashings, copings, fascia, and downspouts, then shear metal and operate RAS autobrake and manual brakes. Assist the sheet metal foreman and superintendent with design and layout tasks while working in teams. Requires lifting 50+ lbs regularly, climbing 40' ladders, and working in extreme heat or cold. Valid driver's license and one year of commercial experience preferred, though entry-level candidates are welcome to train.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year commercial experience sheet metal roofing
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling
- Must be able to climb a ladder 40'
- Must be able to work in the heat and sub-zero cold
- No fear of heights
- Valid driver's required
- Must work well in a team environment
