Job Summary
Commercial Service Technician at Kelso Industries responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing HVAC systems; perform inspections and preventive maintenance; diagnose and troubleshoot issues; repair or replace defective components; test systems; follow blueprints, design specs and manufacturer instructions; adhere to safety protocols and regulations in HVAC work. Requires 5-10 years of service experience (commercial/industrial), high school diploma, valid driver’s license, ability to interpret schematics, and strong problem-solving skills; capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 Years minimum Experience In Service (Commercial or Industrial)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues with HVAC systems
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
- Experience with commercial systems, industrial a plus
- Mechanical aptitude for field service work
- Knowledge of appliance repair techniques is beneficial
