Job Summary
Technician performs installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility HVAC/R systems, food service equipment, plumbing, fuel dispensers, and electrical systems across Pilot Company locations. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing equipment, communicating repair status to supervision and store management, completing same-day work order notes, maintaining stock and vehicle/tools, ensuring compliance with OSHA and Pilot Company regulations, and delivering strong guest and team-member experiences. Requires EPA Universal 608 certification, 3+ years of HVAC service experience, 3+ years of repair experience with commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment, basic plumbing/electrical repair ability, valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently with good communication and problem-solving skills. Travel is under 10%, and the role includes a company vehicle, tools, equipment, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA Universal 608 certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent commercial HVAC service experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment
- Basic knowledge of repairing commercial plumbing and electrical systems
- Valid state driver’s license and positive driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- OSHA knowledge (OSHA 10 training provided)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret site drawings
- Travel requirements less than 10%
