Commercial Service Technician

Pilot Company is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility HVAC/R systems, food service equipment, plumbing, fuel dispensers, and electrical systems across multiple store locations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment, communicating repair status to supervision and management, completing same-day work orders, maintaining stock and service vehicle, repairing fuel dispensers and fuel security systems, inspecting facilities for safety, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and Pilot Company regulations. The role requires independent work, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, ability to read site drawings, and a focus on customer service. Expect to be dispatched from home, work 45–50+ hours per week, with a company vehicle and tools provided; travel is less than 10%. Education, certification, and experience requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, EPA Universal 608 certification, at least 3 years of HVAC service experience and 3 years of experience repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment, plus a valid driver’s license and OSHA familiarity.
