Job Summary
Respond to high-volume repair and maintenance service work orders ranging from minor handyman repairs to medium commercial renovation projects. Perform requested minor equipment and building repairs, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, and drywall. Inspect and troubleshoot systems to identify necessary repairs, then travel to different worksites to complete tasks. Document daily work activity, photograph job site conditions, and submit completed paperwork to update store-level facility records. Maintain personal tool inventory and company vehicle and parts inventory while adhering to all Health, Safety, and Environmental Program requirements. Work independently with minimal supervision, responding to Priority 1 emergency safety concerns and delivering a positive customer experience. Requires a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a flexible schedule and work some nights and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General trade or Handyman experience with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, and drywall
- Possess the vehicle and tools required to perform job functions
- Ability to interact with a diverse customer roster
- Demonstrates attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Self-motivated and works independently
- Able to deliver a positive experience to the customer
- Follows all Company and customer policies and procedures
- Has passion, energy, persistence, positive attitude, and enthusiasm
- Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft Software Suite
- Must possess or obtain an appropriate state driver's license before employment
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
