Job Summary
Respond to service requests to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R systems, food service equipment, plumbing, fuel dispensers, and electrical systems across approximately 15 Newark, DE locations. Complete same-day work order notes, maintain service vehicle and tools, and perform preventive maintenance on rooftop units, ice machines, and fryers. Diagnose fuel dispensers, replace filters, and work on security systems with provided training. Inspect facilities for safety issues and ensure all activities comply with OSHA regulations. Work 45–50+ hours per week with no on-call requirements, receiving a port-to-port salary and annual performance-based bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state driver's license and positive driving record
- Minimum 3 years of recent commercial HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal 608 certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment
- Basic knowledge and ability to repair commercial plumbing and electrical systems
- Basic understanding of OSHA guidelines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Intermediate mathematical ability
- Ability to read and interpret site drawings
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Ability to work in congested areas during business hours
- Ability to climb ladders
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Work in inclement weather
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, crawl, and kneel
- Travel requirements less than 10%
