Job Summary
Install and repair commercial doors, including sectional, rolling steel, dock, and high-speed rolling doors, while adhering to safety regulations and company standards. Collaborate with team members to meet installation goals and deadlines, providing customer service by addressing inquiries during site visits. Maintain tools and equipment, document installation activities, and identify opportunities to offer additional products and services. Operate safely at heights and lift up to 100 pounds. This role is part of a comprehensive training program within a family-owned business celebrating its 100th anniversary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Basic mechanical skills and proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
- Strong communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
- Must possess valid driver's license and good driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or a related field
- Experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude
- Experience in the door industry
