Job Summary
Respond to service requests to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair facility HVAC/R systems, food service equipment, plumbing, fuel dispensers, and electrical systems. Communicate repair status with supervisors and management, complete same-day work order notes, and maintain adequate stock levels. Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop HVAC units, split systems, ice machines, and refrigeration equipment while ensuring all activities comply with OSHA and company regulations. Monitor and maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to company standards. This role supports approximately 15 store locations in the Carlyle, IL region. You will work 45–50+ hours per week with no on-call requirements, receive a performance-based bonus, and work port to port.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state driver's license and positive driving record
- Minimum 3 years of recent commercial HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal 608 certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment
- Basic knowledge and ability to repair commercial plumbing and electrical systems
- Basic understanding of OSHA guidelines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Intermediate mathematical ability
- Ability to read and interpret site drawings
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Ability to climb ladders
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Work in inclement weather
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, crawl, and kneel
- Travel requirements less than 10%
