Job Summary
Perform diagnostic evaluations, routine maintenance, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units and split systems. Address service requests promptly while collaborating with clients to identify needs and propose solutions for enhanced system performance. Complete detailed service reports and communicate findings to clients and internal teams. Adhere to safety protocols, maintain clean work sites, and manage time to handle multiple daily service calls. This role requires daily travel within the Reading, PA area using a company vehicle on a first-shift schedule. Minimum of five years of commercial HVAC experience is required, along with EPA 608 Certification and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service per technician, focusing on diagnostics and repairs for complex commercial systems
- Comprehensive understanding of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems used in commercial buildings
- Valid driver's license and clean, insurable driving record for operating a company vehicle
- Physical capability to manage HVAC service work demands, including lifting, bending, and working in varied environmental conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA 608 Certification (Universal preferred) or relevant licensure as required
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
