Commercial Sales - Project Coordinator

Job Summary

Coordinate commercial projects, sales campaigns, and strategic initiatives from planning through completion, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to ensure timely deliverables. Develop project plans, timelines, and executive status reports while maintaining Monday.com boards and CRM data. Monitor E-Rate procurement opportunities, evaluate strategic fit against the network footprint, and coordinate bid responses and post-award handoffs to Engineering and Operations. Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams, track risks and dependencies, and escalate issues as necessary. Maintain documentation and knowledge bases to support team continuity.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience coordinating projects, programs, sales operations, commercial initiatives, or business operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience utilizing project management platforms such as Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Connectly, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho CRM, ConnectWise, or similar
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams without direct supervisory authority
  • Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Limited travel may be required to support commercial meetings, customer events, industry conferences and project activities
  • This is a full-time, on-site position based at Nextlink's corporate headquarters in Hudson Oaks, Texas
  • Employees are expected to work from the office Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Remote, hybrid, or telecommuting arrangements are not available for this position
  • The employee may occasionally lift or move materials up to 20 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required
  • Equivalent professional experience will be considered
  • Experience in telecommunications, ISP, technology, engineering, construction, or commercial sales
  • Experience coordinating E-Rate opportunities, government procurements, and formal RFP/RFQ response processes
  • Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, or similar project management methodologies
  • PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or similar certifications are preferred but not required
