Commercial Sales Manager

Job Summary
Lead all aspects of the commercial vehicle sales process from prospecting through delivery and post-sale support, focusing on building long-term relationships with local businesses, fleet accounts, contractors, municipalities, and commercial clients. Responsibilities include outside sales calls, developing strategic plans to grow market share, coordinating upfitting and delivery, preparing competitive bids and fleet pricing, maintaining CRM records, and achieving monthly/annual sales targets. Strong emphasis on customer service, cross-functional collaboration (sales, service, finance, manufacturer reps), and maintaining an active sales pipeline. Desired skills include networking, negotiation, presentations, and knowledge of CRM systems and fleet programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of automotive sales experience (preferably commercial, fleet, or B2B)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong networking, prospecting, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- CRM proficiency (DealerTrack and VinSolutions a plus)
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Experience with vehicle sourcing, ordering, and delivery processes
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline and coordinate with finance/insurance and service teams
- Knowledge of fleet programs and government bidding processes
