Job Summary

Sales Engineer/Account Manager focused on profitable growth and market penetration for WEG Commercial products in the Mid-Atlantic territory, including building the customer base via new business development and expanding share of wallet with existing customers. Collaborates with leadership to define optimal markets/offers, identifies project opportunities, and communicates insights across the organization. Provides technical support and project management to WEG sales channels, partners with manufacturing and application engineering to ensure proper specification submission, and leads strategic growth plans. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent) and 5+ years in industrial sales/engineering for power transmission products, with 50-70% travel. Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship. Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) preferred; ability to develop and implement both short- and long-term growth targets; strong relationship-building across management levels.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor�s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical work experience in the motor or power transmission products industry
  • Experience calling on technical OEMs and proposing appropriate product solutions
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels and all disciplines of an organization
  • Experience and proven success in evaluating and navigating through complex commercial business situations
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50%-70%
