Job Summary
Commercial Sales Coordinator in Goodyear, AZ responsible for qualifying, interpreting, and selling commercial project opportunities within an assigned region. Responsibilities include analyzing building applications and design intent, preparing complex submittal documents (data sheets, shop drawings, installation instructions), building trusted advisory relationships with large commercial customers, contractors, and architects, determining pricing/margins per project, and interpreting engineering/technical documents and drawings. Requires ability to read project blueprints/elevations/specs, support design assistance for architects/specifiers, review monthly regional quotes for opportunities, and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications include an Associates degree (bachelors preferred) or two years related experience, prior sales/product installation/technical knowledge, and proficiency with Excel, Oracle, and pricing. Remote/hybrid work option noted; strong communication and problem-solving skills essential.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree, bachelors preferred; or two years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior sales experience, product installation, technical knowledge and project estimating in a customer service environment
- Oracle experience a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers electronically, in person, and via phone
- Ability to interpret routine correspondence electronically and in hard copy format
- Ability to use Windows Office, Excel, Corporate e-mail and other systems
- Ability to calculate cost and pricing. Ability to measure and analyze complex drawings, compute rate, ratio and percentages
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
