Job Summary
Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and onboard net new accounts within the multi-unit residential construction, custom builder, and high-rise sectors. Efficiently organize time spent on outside sales development and in meetings with builder customers at commercial design centres to deliver exceptional client service. Enhance relationships with existing accounts to identify and secure future business opportunities while assisting Sr. Account Managers with major accounts and on-site visits as required. Provide product specifications, generate project quotes, and arrange for extended warranties, financing, delivery, and installation. Maintain an updated Salesforce log of prospects and key accounts while meeting performance targets in cooperation with the Regional Sales Commercial Director of Quebec.
Required Qualifications
- Drivers license
- Ability to travel 50-70% of the time within Quebec region
- Post-Secondary Education in Business or Marketing
- Minimum 3 years of B2B outbound consultative sales and customer service experience
- Minimum 5 years of B2B outbound consultative sales and customer service experience in lieu of post-secondary education
- A clear understanding of 'true salesmanship' that goes way beyond simply moving products or order taking
- Having a 'growth mindset and sense of accountability'
- Knowledge of account Management with the ability to create and execute strategies within assigned territory to deliver against sales targets
- Outstanding Time Management skills
- Customer Service skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in providing products and / or services to the multi-unit residential construction industry
- Experience in the multi-unit high rise / single family / custom builder / kitchen designer, new home construction or a related industry
- Experience working with world class brands in major appliances, electronics, home furnishings, and commercial office furniture
