Job Summary
Manage pharmaceutical packaging operations and room activities for the second shift, ensuring strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards. Coordinate team members, provide leadership and mentorship, and implement continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high quality and safety. Perform calculations, measurements, and reconciliation using manufacturing systems, with the ability to work in clean rooms, cold rooms, and various environments. Requires 4 years of manufacturing experience, strong leadership skills, and proficiency with SAP.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or (GED)
- 4 years of manufacturing experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and quality systems
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Proficiency with computers and manufacturing systems (SAP, etc.)
- Strong mathematical skills for calculations, measurements, and reconciliation
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work in various environments including clean rooms, cold rooms (-20°C to 8°C)
- Vision requirements: 20/40 corrected vision, color vision discrimination
- Ability to work overtime and various shifts as needed
- Ability to wear required PPE including respirators, safety glasses, clean room garments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Fields of Study: Science, engineering or related technical field
- Leadership experience preferred with ability to train, mentor and guide team members
- Experience with automated packaging equipment preferred
