Job Summary
Supervise 1-2 warehouse helpers and manage all warehouse functions while inspecting inventory for commercial roofing materials. Organize inbound and outbound inventory, operate forklifts and other equipment, and load/unload delivery trucks. Gather and assemble materials for project load lists, lifting items 75 lbs. or greater frequently. Requires 2+ years of warehouse management experience, forklift proficiency, valid driver's license, and DOT card eligibility. Available for 6 AM-3:30 PM hours and extended shifts. Background investigation and drug screening required; bi-lingual and roofing system knowledge are pluses.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a warehouse manager
- Ability to operate forklift proficiently
- Organizational skills
- Completion of background investigation and drug screening
- Strong people skills
- Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance
- Available to work extended hours
- Valid Drivers License, and ability to obtain DOT Card
- Pass a drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in construction is a plus
- Experience working with excel or another Warehouse Management System is a plus
- Bi-lingual is a plus
- Knowledge of roof systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles)
- Past residential and/or commercial roofing or construction experience is a plus but not required
