Job Summary
Commercial Roofing Technician in Edmonton region responsible for installing a variety of low-slope roofing systems (BUR, EPDM, single-ply membranes, coatings, and safety systems) under a Foreman, and for conducting QA and maintenance inspections using diagnostic tools. Duties include identifying issues, documenting findings, and communicating recommendations to ensure systems function effectively, while adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies. Requires 2+ years of commercial roofing experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, willingness to travel 25-35% within the region, flexible hours during peak seasons, strong communication and teamwork, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation (truck is a plus).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of commercial roofing experience, with a focus on flat or low-slope systems (steep-slope experience also considered)
- Ability to work at heights and regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to travel up to 25%-35% within the region and work flexible hours during peak seasons
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (truck is an asset)
