Job Summary
Supervise commercial roofing crews and subcontractors while implementing safety procedures and best practices. Read project field manuals, attend meetings, and establish communication lines with external and internal customers including GCs, building owners, and estimators. Ensure projects complete efficiently within schedules and budgets while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Requires 5+ years of commercial roofing experience, ability to read blueprints, and travel to manage multiple job sites. Work in a field environment with exposure to heights, noise, and extreme weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Commercial Roofing experience
- Experience with various Commercial Roofing systems (i.e.- single -ply, torch, hot rubberized asphalt, metal, coatings, etc)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints / shop drawings
- Ability to multitask on various tasks in a fast paced environment
- Ability to travel to and manage multiple job sites
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, climb ladder, bend, kneel, type, and talk or hear
- The employee is also required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Computer literate in Outlook and Excel preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
