Job Summary
Supervise and manage daily activities of commercial roofing production crews, handling personnel scheduling, issue resolution, and job completion on time and on budget. Travel to multiple jobsites to ensure adherence to safety policies, manufacturer specifications, and contractual obligations while coordinating with customers, general contractors, and subcontractors. Prepare documentation, communicate feedback to foremen, and recruit, mentor, and retain a dependable workforce. Work Mon-Fri from 2pm to 7pm, subject to change based on ongoing projects, with domestic travel required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years related experience in onsite commercial roofing production/supervision
- Technical knowledge on various roofing systems and manufactures – BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and specifications
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with crews and superiors
- Ability to communicate and work with others and maintain good working relationships
- Willingness to travel and work flexible schedule
- Clean driving record and background to be able to work on public projects
- Lift up to 100 pounds
- Must not be afraid of heights and have the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Domestic travel is required
- Hours: Mon- Fri 2pm – 7pm (hours are subject to change and dependent upon ongoing projects)
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Familiarity with use of wireless devices including cell phones and tablets
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of the basics in roof related sheet metal, including measurements and installation
