Job Summary
The Commercial Roofing Superintendent oversees roofing construction activities including project planning, scheduling, and budgeting while enhancing accountability and efficiency. Responsibilities include leading commercial roofing crews and subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, coordinating labor and materials, and resolving on-site issues. Candidates should have proven experience with roofing systems, OSHA 30 certification, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. A high school diploma and significant experience in construction and roofing are required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, tapered systems, shingles)
- OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Valid driver’s license (MO Class E or equivalent) and DOT MedCard
- Strong leadership skills with ability to manage crews, resources, and multiple projects
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, and specifications
- Detail-oriented, accountable decision-maker with solid time management skills
- Professional, effective written and verbal communication
