Job Summary
Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee field operations on large-scale roofing projects. Lead crews and subcontractors, schedule work, ensure safety compliance and quality control, review plans and specifications for accurate execution, conduct daily jobsite meetings, maintain detailed site documentation, and provide progress updates to project managers and clients. Requires 7+ years in commercial roofing with at least 3 years in a leadership role, strong knowledge of low-slope roofing systems, ability to manage multiple priorities on active sites, and proficiency in reading blueprints/construction documents. OSHA training or certification preferred; excellent communication and organizational skills essential.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in commercial roofing
- at least 3 years in a leadership/supervisory role
- strong knowledge of low-slope roofing systems and installation methods
- ability to read blueprints and construction documents
- proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and multiple priorities on active jobsites
- excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- OSHA safety training or certification preferred
