Job Summary
Fabricate and install sheet metal on various commercial roof systems, collaborating with the crew to complete assigned jobs including tear-off of existing gutters and coping caps, installations, and other tasks. Lift 50+ lbs regularly while climbing ladders up to 40', working in extreme heat and sub-zero cold without fear of heights. Requires a valid driver's license and ability to work well in a team environment. Based in Virginia Beach, VA, this role supports Roof Services, a Tecta America Commercial Roofing company dedicated to repairing and replacing commercial, industrial, and institutional roofing with a focus on safety and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 year commercial roofing experience
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling
- Must be able to climb a ladder 40'
- Must be able to work in the heat and sub-zero cold
- No fear of heights
- Valid driver's license
- Must work well in a team environment
- Good attitude and willingness to work hard
