Commercial Roofing Service Sales Associate

Job Summary
Sell preventive roof maintenance agreements, restoration coating systems, and corrective roof repairs for commercial, industrial, and government buildings. Attend job walks and prepare take-off by measuring, noting variables of the roof site; prepare itemized lists, material quotes, fabrication labor, and construction labor quotes, and bid abstracts. Analyze roofs, blueprints, and specifications to prepare proposals and estimates; understand manufacturer warranties. Maintain a positive rapport with property managers, general contractors, and manufacturer representatives. Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for planning, organizing, scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors, and evaluating cost effectiveness. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and Project Managers in bid preparation and final evaluation; organize cost-estimating database to support historical data usage and identify cost trends for improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and standard office procedures; ability to write reports and business correspondence.
