Job Summary
Commercial Roofing Service Estimator / Inspector role requires inspecting commercial roofs, evaluating conditions, collecting field measurements and data, and developing detailed scopes of work. Responsibilities include preparing accurate estimates, bids, and service proposals; obtaining vendor/subcontractor pricing; analyzing labor, materials, and equipment needs; presenting findings and solutions to customers; collaborating with Service Managers and field personnel; and maintaining organized project records. Preferred candidates have 2–5+ years in commercial roofing or related construction, experience in estimating and proposals, and a solid grasp of roofing systems, repair methods, and maintenance programs.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of commercial roofing or related commercial construction experience
- Experience preparing service estimates and proposals
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, repair methodologies, and maintenance programs
- Ability to read specifications, work orders, and technical documentation
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
