Job Summary
Commercial Roofing Sales Representative responsible for specification-driven sales of roofing systems across the assigned territory, collaborating with roofing consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners to develop and implement roofing solutions. Activities include supporting specification development and project design, assisting with system selection and technical documentation, identifying opportunities with consultants and owners, maintaining project pipelines in CRM, conducting site visits and design meetings, coordinating with internal teams on pricing and lead times, and representing the company at industry events. Requires 3+ years in commercial roofing or related materials, ability to read drawings and technical docs, strong relationship-building with design and construction professionals, and willingness to travel within the regional territory.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience within commercial roofing, roofing systems, building envelope products, or specialty construction materials
- Experience supporting specification-driven sales involving roofing consultants, architects, engineers, or commercial contractors
- Technical understanding of commercial roofing systems, assemblies, specifications, or waterproofing applications
- Experience developing relationships with consultants, contractors, designers, and commercial construction decision makers
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and technical project documentation
- Experience managing project pipelines, bid activity, and customer communication through CRM systems
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned regional territory, including occasional overnight travel
