Job Summary
Prepare accurate estimates from blueprints, site inspections, and construction documents while identifying scope gaps and developing detailed project budgets. Manage commercial roofing projects from contract award through final closeout, overseeing schedules, manpower plans, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination. Oversee execution to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget, monitoring costs and negotiating change orders. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and subcontractors, attending preconstruction and progress meetings. Promote jobsite safety, ensure compliance with standards, and address challenges proactively to maintain customer satisfaction. Valid driver's license required with 60% travel to project sites.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial roofing or commercial construction project management experience
- Experience estimating commercial roofing projects and preparing change order pricing
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, construction methods, contracts, and specifications
- Experience with construction and project management software
- Experience reviewing blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from award through closeout
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
- Valid driver's license with ability to travel approximately 60% to project sites
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortably access commercial rooftops
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management or a related field
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing materials, installation methods, and industry best practices
