Job Summary
Operations Manager for commercial roofing oversees field operations, driving productivity, quality, safety, and profitability. Responsible for supervising superintendents and foremen, coordinating material purchasing and logistics, reviewing bids and contracts, supporting project planning with PM and estimating teams, and managing change orders. Leads safety culture, monitors labor and material costs to improve profitability, conducts site visits, and collaborates with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution. Requires five years of roofing management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel to job sites and customer meetings is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of commercial roofing management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Proven leadership, planning, organization, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
