Job Summary
Commercial Roofing Foreman oversees roofing service and maintenance crews, coordinates with project manager, trains production and maintenance workforce, completes jobs, communicates with customers, applies knowledge of details drawings and specifications, understands warranty terms, basics of sheet metal including drip edge, gravel stop, coping, counter flashings, terminations, completes jobs and prepares for inspection, and attends training meetings per management’s request.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Clean motor vehicle record, and Background Check
- Must not be afraid of heights and must be able to position extension ladder to access roof for roof inspection/survey
- Ability to perform assigned task daily through completion with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to represent the Company in a professional manner, promoting the organization in a positive and productive discipline which will serve as an example to others
- Other critical skills include planning & organizing; problem identification/resolution, multi-tasking, follow-through skills to bring tasks to closure in a timely manner, and having a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner
