Job Summary
Lead roofing crews in the installation, removal, and replacement of commercial roof systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and slope. Manage projects from start to finish while performing maintenance, repairs, and ensuring work meets specifications and safety guidelines. Coordinate with customers, complete required paperwork, attend meetings, and assist in crew training. Track inventory and file daily reports. This role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work at varying heights in various weather conditions. Starting pay is $24/hour depending on experience. Tecta America East serves the Mid-Atlantic region with a focus on green roofs and photovoltaic solar systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years experience leading commercial roofing crews
- A valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Initiative, Integrity, and Adaptability
- Must be able to climb ladders, regularly bend, climb and kneel
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions
- Must be able to pass preemployment screening
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with all types of commercial roofing systems is ideal
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus
