Job Summary
Oversee small jobs and supervise roofing service and maintenance crews while performing job set-up and preparing for inspection. Train the production and maintenance workforce, attend training meetings, and communicate with customers, estimators, and the Project Manager regarding scope expansions or design modifications. Maintain a working knowledge of detail drawings, specifications, and warranty terms, while acquiring skills in sheet metal basics including measurements, drip edge, and terminations. Ensure all tasks are completed with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency. Requires a clean motor vehicle record, background check, and ability to work at heights.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Background Check
- Not afraid of heights
- Ability to position extension ladder to access roof for roof inspection/survey
- Ability to perform assigned task daily through completion with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to represent the Company in a professional manner
- Planning & organizing
- Problem identification/resolution
- Multi-tasking
- Follow-through skills to bring tasks to closure in a timely manner
- Sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications
- Possesses a working knowledge in detail drawings and specifications
- Understands warranty terms and requirements to install warranty work
- Acquires knowledge in the basics in associated sheet metal, including measurements and installation. (Drip edge, Gravel Stop, Coping, Counter flashings, Terminations.)
