Job Summary
Install various flat-roofing systems on commercial buildings, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, and BUR, while supervising and directing the field crew to ensure timely project completion. Successfully train and support the crew, maintain quality installation standards, and meet production goals within given deadlines. Problem-solve issues that arise during projects, conduct safety meetings, and enforce all safety standards through workplace assessments. Ensure the crew can read and interpret blueprints and complete required paperwork using available technology.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' commercial roofing experience
- experience supervising and leading crews
- valid Driver's License
- good 7 year driving record
- Experience with various commercial roofing systems: single ply membranes, TPO, PVC, and/or others
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to train and mentor new employees
- Leadership skills- delegating, time management, quality control
- Can complete required paperwork, reports, and is comfortable with technology- iPads/apps
- Ability to learn and follow safety policies and standards
