Job Summary
Lead daily commercial roofing service operations by supervising crews performing repairs, maintenance, inspections, and leak investigations across the Memphis market. Coordinate jobsite activities, manpower, and equipment while ensuring work meets quality standards and safety protocols. Troubleshoot roofing systems, maintain clean sites, and complete daily reports. Train and mentor technicians, communicate with customers and vendors, and identify additional service opportunities. Work closely with leadership on scheduling and labor efficiency. Requires 3+ years of foreman experience, valid driver's license, and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Full-time Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Foreman / Supervisory experience in commercial roofing, with a strong background in service, repair, or maintenance operations.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Extensive knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques including: TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, Metal Roofing, Roof Coatings & Waterproofing.
- Ability to identify roofing deficiencies and recommend repairs.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and industry specifications.
- Ability to lead crews while maintaining professionalism and accountability.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience managing customer expectations.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening as a condition of hire.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a dependable personal vehicle to travel to job sites as required.
- Must be comfortable working at heights and capable of safely using ladders and other elevated access equipment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Above average knowledge of commercial roofing software (ex: DataForma)
- OSHA 10 hour or 30 hour card
- Aerial Man Lift and/or Forklift certification
- First Aid, CPR & AED certification
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred
- Candidates with local market familiarity, strong leadership potential, and a long-term commitment to the Knoxville area are strongly preferred.
