Job Summary
Commercial Roofing Estimator prepares cost estimates for roofing projects, analyzes blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates, and submits bids to contractors and private clients. The role provides comprehensive support to sales and project teams, serves as a resource by communicating with clients and responding to questions, and collaborates with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Knowledge of Edge estimating and proficiency with Excel are highly valued; a High School or equivalent education is required with a college degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Previous roofing contracting experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read blueprints
- Math proficiency
- Detail-oriented and quality focused
- Strong communication skills
- Bilingual - Spanish a plus
