Commercial Roofing Estimator & Project Manager

Job Summary
Conduct accurate take-offs and prepare competitive estimates for commercial roofing projects by analyzing specifications, drawings, and site visits. Oversee projects from start to finish, coordinating schedules with superintendents and clients while managing budgets, tracking expenses, and submitting timely billings. Resolve issues, prepare change orders, and create shop drawings and fabrication tickets for the metal shop. Collaborate with vendors to secure pricing and assist in generating leads, presenting proposals, and supporting sales efforts to close deals. Requires 3+ years of experience and proficiency with Sage Estimating and project management software.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and using estimating software
- Project management software use
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic sales skills with the ability to build rapport and identify client needs
- Familiarity with project management tools, CRM systems, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, and Microsoft Office Suite
- 3+ years in commercial roofing estimation and/or project management
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, metal, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Sage Estimating software
- CAD experience
- Knowledge of local building codes
