Job Summary
Prepare commercial roofing estimates, bids, and change orders by performing roof inspections and analyzing plans and specifications. Attend pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs to obtain competitive vendor pricing, then collaborate with Sales, Production, and Project Management to ensure successful project execution. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors while reading blueprints and construction documents. Requires 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience, knowledge of TPO, EPDM, and Modified Bitumen systems, proficiency in The EDGE estimating software and Microsoft Excel, plus a valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, and Built-Up Roofing systems
- Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel locally as needed
- Strong communication and organizational skills
