Job Summary
As a Commercial Roofing Estimator, contribute to detailed, accurate estimates for various commercial roofing systems (built-up, modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC) including labor, materials, equipment, site visits, and overhead. Demonstrate deep system knowledge, build and maintain relationships with national clients, ensure QA and safety compliance, stay current on market trends, collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers, and engage in ongoing professional development. Requires 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing estimating; strong analytical and mathematical abilities; experience with Estimating Edge; proficiency in MS Office; valid driver’s license; and a team-oriented mindset. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing estimating with a proven client-facing track record (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design, installation codes, manufacturer warranty requirements, and industry standards
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to produce precise, competitive estimates
- Experience with database estimating software (Estimating Edge "The Edge" preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Motivated self-starter with a professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey instructions clearly
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Team-oriented mindset
