Job Summary
Install, repair, replace, and maintain commercial roofing systems including TPO, standing seam metal, and modified bitumen. Perform work on roof systems, install insulation and flashing, and conduct inspections to identify leaks or damaged materials. Remove existing roofing systems as needed and operate tools safely while following project plans and OSHA standards. Work effectively with foremen and crew members to complete projects on schedule. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial roofing experience
- Hands-on experience installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial roofing systems
- Experience with TPO roofing systems
- Experience with standing seam/metal roofing
- Experience with modified bitumen (Mod Bit) roofing
- Experience with commercial roof repairs, replacements, and new construction
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Familiarity with roofing hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with additional commercial roofing systems such as PVC, EPDM, BUR, or roof coatings
- Experience installing sheet metal flashing, coping, gutters, and trim
- Ability to identify roofing deficiencies and recommend appropriate repair solutions
