Job Summary
Visually and electronically inspect tires, scan data into the system, repair injuries, and fill with extrusion gum. Buff old tread off casings, apply new compound, operate x-ray machines and curing chambers, and manage computer-based tracking throughout production. Maintain accurate inventory levels using automated scanning features. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for 10 hours daily, and working inside the manufacturing facility with exposure to dust and noise. Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to move, and stack truck tires, tread, and other materials repetitively
- This includes the ability to lift to 50 pounds
- stand for up to 10 hours a day
- Occasional bending, walking, kneeling, and stooping
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment operation
- Ability to utilize air-powered hand tools
- Must adhere to all safety guidelines including the wearing of appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment – safety glasses, hi-vis, safety footwear, etc.)
