Job Summary
Interview applicants to determine loan requirements, analyze financial status, and structure loans within policy. Champion loan opportunities to the credit department, prepare financing proposals, and ensure timely closing and funding. Manage the commercial portfolio including renewals, modifications, collections, and risk assessment while maintaining compliance with NCUA, state, and federal regulations. Collaborate with departmental leadership for audits and reviews, serve as a non-voting member of the Business Loan Committee, and provide feedback on process improvements. Requires a college degree in business or finance and minimum five years of related lending experience.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in business, finance, or related filed
- Thorough understanding of loan documents and lien perfection techniques
- Complete knowledge of commercial lending requirements and documentation
- Understanding of collections procedures and related legal actions
- Understanding of Real Estate Appraisal techniques (commercial) and title issues
- Thorough understanding of loan documentation and closing
- Minimum of five (5) years of related lending experience
- Experience with credit administration
- Experience with business deposit origination and development
- Experience with Treasury Management
- Excellent follow-up skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong ability to think critically and solve problems in a sound manner
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet applicable deadlines
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a high degree of quality
- Ability to drive performance and growth while supporting a positive team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with loan workout and remedies preferred
