Job Summary
Commercial Relationship Manager role focused on owner-occupied CRE, SBA lending (7(a), 504, USDA), and C&I lending within a $1.2B family-owned community bank. You will build and maintain long-term client partnerships, leverage in-house lending authority up to $26MM, and operate within a team of four experienced lenders with dedicated underwriters and full operational support. The position emphasizes relationship-driven, non-transactional lending with a complete treasury management suite to compete with larger banks while preserving community bank responsiveness. Typical production is $25MM–$30MM annually, with emphasis on SBA and owner-occupied transactions and a culture that values professional, relationship-first banking.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in community banking or significant recent community bank experience
- Focus on long-term client relationships over transactional volume
- Ability to structure meaningful transactions without excessive bureaucracy
- In-house lending authority up to $26MM
- Ability to manage $25MM–$30MM annual production with the right relationships
