Job Summary
Drive new business opportunities while managing and expanding relationships with commercial clients across targeted market segments. Develop and execute strategies for client growth, retention, and relationship deepening through calls, meetings, and consistent follow-up. Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell products and services that meet client needs. Structure and present financing proposals; negotiate terms and conditions for loans, leases, and other credit solutions. Partner with credit and loan review teams to ensure sound underwriting and compliance. Analyze financial statements and credit data to assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions. Guide loan requests through the credit approval process, exercising strong judgment in credit and pricing decisions. Provide timely responses to client inquiries and issue resolution. Manage portfolio administration, including credit analysis and processing requirements. Maintain active involvement in the local community to strengthen relationships and market presence. Oversee a portfolio of medium to large-sized businesses, ensuring strong credit quality and profitability. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial banking with a focus on business development and relationship management
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of a broad suite of products, including credit, cash management, leasing, international, and consumer offerings
