Job Summary
Commercial Relationship Manager III accountable for leading business development and cross-selling in a commercial banking portfolio, representing Eastern Bank in business and community activities, and managing credit facilities. Responsibilities include identifying prospects, making personal calls, presenting data to the Credit Committee, reviewing credit facilities, coordinating with legal counsel for documentation, and maintaining ongoing client contact to address deposit, cash management, insurance, and investment needs. Requires 5+ years of underwriting experience in commercial real estate analysis and/or commercial banking, with formal bank credit training preferred. Located in Boston, MA, with a focus on New England markets; Bachelor's degree preferred. Salary range $136,599-$224,413 with additional compensation potential; robust benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Proven underwriting abilities, including 5+ years experience in commercial real estate analysis and/or commercial banking
- Formal bank credit training preferred
- Familiarity with top tier and middle market commercial companies within the New England marketplace
- Incumbent should be able to excel with integrity in an entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment
- Incumbent should be energetic and comfortable in an environment offering base salary plus performance oriented compensation
- Proficient/computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel with the willingness/ability to learn new software as necessary
