Job Summary
Journeyperson Commercial Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanic based in Calgary, AB. Responsibilities include installation, start-ups, inspections, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of refrigeration/HVAC systems; installation of welded, threaded, and brazed piping; completing regulatory paperwork (ABSA, CFIA) related to refrigerant releases; troubleshooting electrical control systems; maintaining safety and quality standards; and delivering customer-focused service while collaborating within a team. Qualifications emphasize Journeyman certification, basic computer skills (MS Office), and willingness to travel/on-call; assets include Class A Gas Fitting, Electrician/Sheetmetal, and Hydronic experience.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman certification or equivalent in HVAC refrigeration mechanics
- Class A Driver’s License with a clean Driver's Abstract
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
