Job Summary
Commercial Real Estate Senior Financial Analyst at BWE in Los Angeles, CA, providing support to the CRE Production Team in debt, equity and structured finance origination and project consulting for multifamily, industrial, retail, office and hospitality assets. Responsibilities include preliminary screening, underwriting analysis, cash flow projections, structuring lending/investment opportunities, reviewing due diligence materials, preparing loan packages and submissions to lenders/investors (including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, life insurance, CMBS, debt funds, pension funds, and bank transactions), preparing underwriting documents, analyzing issues during loan placement, maintaining lender/investor contact databases, and supporting office pipeline management. Requires strong analytical abilities, knowledge of income-producing real estate markets, organizational skills, and the ability to travel. Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or Finance or equivalent; advanced degree a plus; experience in a high-volume loan production environment preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two - five years of experience in a commercial real estate mortgage loan production office or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or Finance, or equivalent education and related training
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
